Backup Your Assets

Before you cancel anything, download all your existing logos, business photos, and copy. Most providers make it hard to export your data once you leave, so do this while you still have access.

Pro Tip: Copy and paste your text into a Google Doc so it's easy to paste into your new HTML template later.

Keep Your Domain Name

You do NOT need to stay with Wix or Yell to keep your web address (e.g., www.your-business.co.uk). You can simply "point" your domain to your new free HTML hosting.

Note: If you bought your domain through Wix, you can initiate a "Domain Transfer" to a cheaper registrar like Namecheap or Google Domains for about £10/year.
